Make an Impact on Our Community Through Teamwork & Leadership

From serving food and hosting events, to keeping our streets clean and filled full of fresh flowers, the Bridge House Brats help to make our community better.

Attention Potential Brats

This year, there are only 20 spots available. They are first come, first served. Additional applicants will be waitlisted.

Meet and greet interviews with you, your parent or guardian, and our Director Kathy, will be held April 9th & 10th and May 9th & 16th from 9:00am – 2:00pm at the bridge house.

Applications are due May 30th.

To be a Bridge House Brat:
  • You must be 8–18 years of age.
  • Must fill out the application, then interview with our Director with a parent/guardian.
  • Must wear Bridge House Brats shirt while working.

A Day in the Life of a Bridge House Brat

What a day looks like:

7:30am – 1:30pm Wait on customers and boaters

8:30am Street and park walk to pick up garbage

9:30am Water all flowers in park and downtown

10:00am Exercise program and mentoring games

2:00am – 2:30pm Clean and close up

When needed:
  • Walk Dogs
  • Greet Boaters
  • Paint
  • Clean Windows
  • Clean Museum
  • Empty Garbages
  • Give Tours
  • Clean State Street
  • Wash Boats
  • Run Errands
